The Author's First Name "Lyno"

Lyno Newland was given the first name Lyno, as officially recorded on his Montana birth certificate, by his parents Oliver and Helen. Oliver said he had devised the name based upon the Anglicized version of his favorite Scandinavian architect's name. The architect had designed some famous building somewhere in Scandinavia. The time frame is unknown. When some helpful reader can explain this riddle, they are invited to explain it in the comments below.
 
The "Newland 2084" is attributed to "Lyno" because of the uniqueness of that name.
